Cutting of a large Pit near the Hospital Garden and Removing and berrying of Clinically Non hazardousness' waste materials which was dispose off from the META MIZER machine, during Covid pandemic situation and stored near the Car park and official quarters premises of the hospital. More than 6o tones of these materials transported to the site and berried. The people of the area were in a suspicious mind as everybody knows that it was the waste involved in pandemic period and lying more than two years and also partly washed off through in drains to the water reservoir area during rainy period. Mainly we had to totally used machineries such as JCB Loaders drum trucks in 18 days as workers were scared to do it manually. Owing to this project, the hospital could have saved Rs. 8 million and could have utilize same for purchasing essential drugs etc as the Government is in a such critical financial crises. |

Planting of 50 coconut plants in the garden of Ketharama Temple where few of the schooling young Buddhist monks are residing and it will be a very helpful project for the young priest to know about the importance of go green program in time to come. Cutting of 2' x 3' holes and fertilized with compost and old coconut husks with Salt. Recycled and Disposable Tar barrels were used to protect the beautiful environment and to cover individual plants in order to safeguard them from the stray Pigs and other annimals.Watering was undertaken once in two days and close supervision was done to monitor progress of the growing. The Chief incumbent of the temple along with few young priests, 12 villagers and 8 lions and ladies attended. |
Repairing, Welding, Adjusting and Color washing of Beds & Equipements of Teaching Hospital, Ratnapura.By lions Club of

Repairing, Welding, Adjusting, Color washing of 350 beds, 400 tables, 300 Cupboards, 300 Racks which were abandoned and unattended during last three years and repairing and color washing of two Maternity wards to the highest standard which also undertaken with the assistance of Hospital Development Committee of 2022/25 and few donors in the Gem Trade in the city. By undertaking these repairs by us, the hospital could have been saved more than Rs. 12 million, which could be utilized to purchase urgent requirement of drugs etc to the hospital. |
