Along with the kids of Grand Star Montessori and with the participation of the neighborhood and members of Jawatta Summit together cleaned the beach and disposed the waste to recycling encouraging young children to protect the environment and greener world concept. Negombo Recycling Club joined this event to dispose the non recyclable plastic wastes and also to educate the neighborhood about waste management. Lion Chamath Jayalath was the chief guest for this event. 12 members of Jawatta Summit actively participated in the beach cleaning and encouraged the Montessori kids to protect the environment. This project served more than 1000 people living around the beach area.
