Description

A lecture on Self Care and Compassion, a psychological approach on mental and physical wellbring of humans was conducted by the Guest Speaker, Mrs Azmara Mowlana a psychologist and therapist qualified in the United Kingdom. It was held at the ballroom of Hotel Sapphire in Colombo 6 and 75 participants including 12 club members were present. The Chief organiser was former first Lady Lion Lady Zehraniya Mowlana ably assited by Past District Governor Raslan Mowlana and their daughter Mrs Afra Mowlana, who was the Chief Coordinator. A Q & A session and practical session with a young teenage girl Ms Hamid, daughter of immediate Past District Governor Ismath Hamid and an older lady participant. With lots of interactions between the Guest Speaker and audience was the highlight of the program. Very impressive and an inspiration to most of the audience.
