Colombo Supreme has initiated several impactful pilot projects as part of the Saman Devalaya program. With the participation of key figures like the District Governor, Immediate past discrict governor 1st Vice District Governor, 2nd Vice District Governor, Region Chairman, Zone Chairman, and several club members, the following projects were launched:
School Books & Stationery Distribution – Providing essential educational supplies to students.
Reading Books for School Children – Encouraging reading by distributing books.
Distribution of Kubuk and Mee Trees & Assigning Students as Guardians – Promoting environmental responsibility among students by having them care for trees.
Distribution of Nippon Paints to Schools – Assisting schools with resources to improve their infrastructure.
Distribution of Milk Packets Among 50 Children Participants – Supporting the nutrition of children involved in the program.
These projects seem to focus on education, environment, infrastructure, and child welfare. It’s a comprehensive approach that addresses various community needs.
