Description

In continuation of the charitable work initiated last month by the club to alleviate hunger among the less fortunate, the Lions Club of Nawala Premier undertook another project on Poya Day, 17th September 2024. The club distributed 10,000 cups of fruit juice to the people and passersby in the vicinity to quench their thirst. This event took place from morning to evening at Katagasma Restaurant in Hanwella. Past District Governor Ln Bannat Gamalath graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Multiple Council Member PDG Lion Anil Pussala represented the Multiple District 306. Several Lions, non-Lion members of the club, and Zone Chairperson R5-Z2 Ln Chrishangani Perera actively participated in distributing the drinks.
