We are pleased to share a remarkable initiative by the Lions Club of Colombo Diamonds aimed at improving the lives of those in need. In our ongoing commitment to service and community welfare, we are offering free cataract surgery to 25 patients who are suffering from cataracts and require surgical intervention. Cataract surgery is a transformative procedure designed to remove the clouded natural lens of the eye and replace it with a clear, artificial lens. This procedure can restore vision and significantly enhance the quality of life for those affected. By providing this essential service at no cost, we hope to alleviate the burden on individuals who may not have the means to afford this critical treatment. We are deeply grateful to our partners and volunteers who have made this initiative possible.
