Lions Club of Welimada Uva Paranagama and Lions Club of Bandarawela jointly held a children's day programme at the children's park Municipal Council Bandarawela with the students and teachers of B/ Sudharshi school for special needs Dowa, Kumbalwela Ella. At 8.00 A M the students and the staff arrived to Bandarawela Town and had a walk students, staff, lions, lion ladies with a music band up to Hill Side Hotel Bandarawela. At hotal all had the breakfast and moved to Municipal Council Children's Park and spend there with lots of entertainment programmes. At 1.30 P M ended up it and moved to Hill Side Hotel and provided lunch for all participants. President Lions Club of Bandarawela Lion Maduranga Manoratna (MJF/PMAF) presented gifts to all children and staff who participated.80 children,20 staff, Regional Chairman Lion Priyantha Manathunga,l(MJF/PMAF), Zone Chairman Lion Sarathsiri Silva (PMJF/PMAF/SLF),President Lion Maduranga manoratna (MJF/PMAF), members of Lions Club of Welimada Uva Paranagama, and 12 lions ,lion ladies participated the project. Value of the project Bandarawela lions contribution Hire charges for the bus. = Rs. 20000.00 Cost for 2 banners. = Rs. 12000.00 Sounds. = Rs 10000.00 Gifts 100 × 1500/= Rs 150000.00 Total value. Rs 192000.00
