On October 7, 2024, a blood sugar screening test and awareness program on the importance of early detection were conducted at Luwisawattha Bhikshuni Aramaya in Yakkala. Led by project chairperson Dr. Fakeeha Nooman and conducted by the CCC, the program served 120 participants. The initiative involved 12 Lion volunteer hours dedicated to promoting diabetes awareness and early health interventions within the community.
