Every Small Act of Kindness Makes a Difference!
This Christmas, we, the Leo Lions of Colombo Uptown Legends, embraced the true spirit of the season by supporting a young mother and her family through a challenging time. This courageous woman, a mother of three young sons , a sick mother and an unemployed husband has been battling an abdominal-related illness that has imposed a significant financial burden on her family due to the high costs of medication. Understanding the gravity of her situation, we stepped in to provide her with essential medical support by covering her medication expenses for the next three months. In addition, we extended a helping hand by offering a selection of grocery items to help ease the daily struggles of her household along with a cash donation of Rs.20,000.
We are deeply grateful to our Zone Chairperson, Lion Siri Jayasuriya PMJF , for his presence and unwavering support added a special touch to the moment as we handed over these gifts, each wrapped with love, care, and compassion.
