Description

Distributed 360 dry ration parcels, clothes, bed sheets, pillows, water bottles etc to flood victims in Ampara,Nindavur,Kalawanchikudi and Batticaloa flood affected area. Club spend 4 days ( 28th, 29th, 30th of November and 1st of December) for collecting materials, parceling and transport to Estetern Province and distribute. 1st 3 days (28th, 29th and 30th) 16 lions involved for collection of dry rations and other materials spending 10 hours daily. On 1st of December 10 lions went to Estetern Province and distributed the aids spending 15 Lion hours. 4 members from S't Jhon's Ambulance Brigade also assisted 1st three days to collection of materials spending 10 hours each .Total 630 Lion hours and 120 hours S't Jhon's Ambulance Brigade members .For distribution of aids Lion President, Treasurer and 8 lions participated. Value of the project 360 dry ration parcels @ Rs 4500.00 = 1620000.00 Value of other materials =Rs 220000.00 Lion hours 630 @Rs 500.00 =.315000.00 S't Jhon's members 120 hours @ Rs 500.00 = 60000.00 Vehicle hire charges 1st three days 3 @.Rs 20000.00 = 60000.00 Transport cost for lorry from Bandarawela to Batticalo.= Rs 40000.00 Transport cost for lions to Batticalo. = Rs 30000.00 Cost for meals and refreshments and tea3 × 20 × Rs 1000.00 = Rs 60000.00 Last day breakfast Lunch Dinner tea and refreshments 10 × Rs 2500.00 = Rs 25000.00 Total value = Rs 2430000.00
