Constructed new kitchen for Lions "Sanasuma "Elders Home. Work commenced on 15th November and completed on 20th December. On 22nd December before start the club Board meeting at Elders Home the members of the board inspected and declared open the kitchen. Zone Chairman Zone 2 Region 8 Lion Sarathsiri Silva (PMJF/PMAF), club President Lion Maduranga Manoratna (MJF/PMAF) and 10 lions participated at the moment. Value of the project Value of building materials Cement, Sand, metal, reainforments doors, windows, roof timber, roofing sheets, floor tiles, shuttering planks, emulsion and enamel paint etc.= Rs 1550000.00 Labour charges = Rs. 625000.00 Electricity supply = Rs. 55000.00 Lions supervision of the work during construction period 160 Lion hours 160 @ Rs 500.00. = Rs 80000.00 Transport cost for materials and lions.= Rs 65000.00 Total value = Rs 2375000.00
