On January 8, 2025, a Cancer Awareness Program was successfully conducted at Jansetha Reception Hall in Gampaha. The event, attended by 200 participants, aimed to educate the community on cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options. The session was led by Guest Speaker Lion Lady Dr. Fakeeha Nooman, who provided valuable insights into maintaining a healthy lifestyle and reducing cancer risks. With a total of 12 Lion hours dedicated to the initiative, the program made a significant impact in raising awareness and promoting better health practices.
