The Lions Club of Colombo Diamonds recently organized a Blood Sugar Check-up Camp for 250 residents of Sathiru Sevana Flat in Colombo-15. The camp aimed to raise awareness about diabetes and provide free blood sugar screenings to those in need. It was a crucial initiative to promote health and well-being in the community. The event, held on 19th January, was graced by the Chief Guest, Lion Veerabahu, PMJF PMAF SLF (Deputy Cabinet Secretary), along with Project Chairperson, District Deputy Treasurer Lion Sugath Jayanatha, MJF PMAF JP. The camp was met with great enthusiasm, and the residents expressed immense gratitude for the Lions Club’s continued dedication to their health and well-being.
