Description

The Lions Club of Colombo Diamonds recently donated a Blood Sugar Machine, Glucometer, Test Strips, and Needles to the F A Youth Foundation at Sathiru Sevana Flat in Colombo-15. This initiative aimed to provide essential medical equipment for regular blood sugar monitoring, empowering individuals to manage and prevent diabetes-related complications. The event, held on 19th January, was graced by Chief Guest, Lion Veerabahu, PMJF PMAF SLF (Deputy Cabinet Secretary), and Project Chairperson, District Deputy Treasurer Lion Sugath Jayanatha, MJF PMAF JP. The donation was warmly received by the F A Youth Foundation, which will utilize the equipment to support the community’s health and well-being. Residents expressed deep gratitude for this thoughtful contribution, which will significantly aid in better health management. The Lions Club of Colombo Diamonds continues to uphold its commitment to serving and uplifting lives through impactful healthcare initiatives.
