Description

On 21St February 2025 , a charitable event took place at the Outpatient Department (OPD) of Apeksha Hospital in Maharagama, where approximately 1,700 buns and cups of milk tea were distributed to patients and their accompanying persons. This initiative is part of an annual service project led by Lion Anoma, with support from the President of the Lions Club of Colombo Sunshine. The event was honored by the presence of the Patron of the LL Association, Lion Sriyani Fernando, who served as the Chief Guest, and the President of the LL Association, Lion Dr. Nilmine Withana, as the Guest of Honor. Additionally, during the event, the LL Association provided financial assistance to two chemotherapy patients. This ongoing project reflects the commitment of the Lions Club and associated organizations to support patients at Apeksha Hospital, offering both nutritional support and financial aid to those undergoing treatmen
