The Lions Club of Colombo Diamonds is organizing a tree planting project to contribute to environmental conservation. The event will take place on March 9th at Senarathwela Maha Vidyalaya, Digana, starting from 10:30 AM.
This initiative, led by Lion Veerabahu PMJF PMAF SLF, Deputy Cabinet Secretary, aims to plant 100 trees as part of the club’s commitment to promoting sustainability and enhancing the natural environment. The event will be graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, District Governor Lion Ranjith Fernando MJF MAF, who will lend his support to the project.
This tree planting effort reflects the Lions Club’s dedication to community service and environmental stewardship, helping to make a lasting positive impact on the local ecosystem.
