School books, Stationary with imported colour & lead pencils, distribution of Imported Confectionary and tree planting by students and well wishers was the highlight of this Back to School project 3.
There was interaction between the foreign guests from Germany and planting of valuable Mango and Malaysian 'Jambu' Apple trees was also a main feature during this service project. Beneficiaries were school children of year 4 of Digampatana Junior School in Sigiriya, North Central Sri Lanka. 31 foreign nationals along with students took part headed by Lion Tuan Jamion, Club President, Cabinet Officer of Colombo Elvitigala Lions Club of District 306c2
