A free Eye Camp was successfully held on 15th February 2025 at Dewram Vehera, Pannipitiya, offering essential vision care services to the community. The initiative aimed to diagnose and treat vision problems while raising awareness about eye health.
During the camp, 557 patients received eye screenings, conducted by a team of eye care professionals. Among them, 70 individuals were diagnosed with cataracts and will undergo surgeries at a specialized hospital, helping them regain their vision.
The camp provided 142 special glasses and 345 reading glasses.
This effort was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Mrs. Harini and Mr. Gamini Silva to those in need.
The Eye Camp at Dewram Vehera encouraged individuals to seek regular check-ups and prioritize their vision health.
