A leadership campaign program was successfully conducted by Mr. Jayasiri Karayawasam in collaboration with Principal Nelson Senarathne of the Mawathagama Kanishta School in the Western Province. The initiative was aligned with the efforts of the Lions Club of Nawala, led by Chairperson Lion Nilmini Withana and Co-Chairperson Lion Maneesha Seneviratne, who generously donated Rs. 50,000 to support the program.
Over the course of three days, the leadership program empowered students by enhancing their confidence and assertiveness. Participants engaged in various activities designed to foster leadership skills, teamwork, and personal development. The success of the program was evident in the positive feedback from students, who left equipped with new skills and a greater sense of self-assurance.
