On 16 May 2025, the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence conducted a Fasting Blood Sugar Testing program at Leela Withana Elder's Home, Warapalana. The project was chaired by Lion Bahar Nayan and coordinated by Dr. Fakeeha Nooman, with funding support from Lion Bahar Nayan and Dr. Nilmini. A total of 35 elderly residents participated in the screening, which aimed to identify and raise awareness about diabetes and promote early detection among senior citizens. The initiative contributed to the club’s ongoing efforts to support community health and well-being. A total of 16 Lion hours were recorded for this project.
