"The Lions Club of Nintavur Supreme is always committed to identifying and supporting individuals in our society who are struggling—whether it’s due to medical issues, inability to work, or the need for youth empowerment. In one such case, we came across a young man suffering from a serious spinal injury, which prevents him from doing hard labor. When we asked how we could help him support his family, he said, 'I know how to drive—if I can get a small hand tractor, I can work.' Without delay, our club arranged and purchased a used hand tractor for him. Although we initially missed the chance to formally hand it over, we were fortunate to meet him by chance on the road while he was transporting the tractor. At that moment, we were with our District Governor, Lion Ranjith Fernando. We stopped, introduced the young man to the Governor, and he encouraged us to upload this inspiring story to our official portal with full details. We Always Serve the People."
