The Batticaloa District also affected by Corona and restrictions applied by the Government and then by flood, Lions Club of Batticaloa assisted to different group of people during lock down and flood. Persons with disabilities are one of the most affected group due to corona and flood, majority of these people are living below poverty, due to this situation they struggle to have regular meals, considering their situation Lions Club of Batticaloa jointly with Leo club of Batticaloa and Disable People Organization provided pack of dry ration to 27 persons with disability (83 members) families worth SLR 1200/pack sufficient for a week for a normal family
