Description

With the Covid-19 Pandemic Situation across the globe, crises occurred without a limit. Here in Sri Lanka too, Covid-19 Pandemic measures have been taken swiftly, and we as Lions have been the prime aid in the fight. From the Kandakadu Quarantine Center in Sri Lanka, patients who have successfully ended their quarantine is transported to Colombo. However, during the journey which takes at least 12 hours, the patients aren't given any refreshments (food/drinks) due to the Extreme Capacity. Therefore, we as the Leo Lions of Ananda Alumni took charge in providing Refreshments (Juice Bottles) to the patients arriving at the Colombo District Hospital (Maligawatte). This project was done on the 1st of July 2021 to mark the beginning of the New Lionistic Year as well, in response to the 'Presidents Excellence Day' which was a flagship brand of the new District Governor of the Lions District 306 C2.
