Project – Lets talk in English
Project Chairpersons - Lion Amanda and Lion Ruchini
Participants – 16 school children living in rural area . Monaragala district / Kadawatha and Kiriwaththuduwa.
Target - To relieve tension or get conversation going and to create a platform to practice converting in English.
Time period – 10 to 15 sessions to arrange a sequence of meetings with small groups, and break the ice among participants by conducting activities to get everyone to engage in speaking.
This is not a platform where grammar will be taught, and not a teacher student level programme. This is to create a platform to create opportunity to converse in English and to remove the fright of using the language.
