Environment committee meeting was held by District environment head Lion Chamath C.Jayalath to discuss progress of conducted projects and to plan future projects. Environment awareness program was carried out for Lion leaders and lions. Guest speaker from the University of Jayawardanapura department of political science & Environmentalist, Senior lecture Prof.Vishaka Suriabandara addressed the gathering about important of conservation of nature. Project Chairperson Chamath Champika Jayalath. The District Governor (2019/2020) Lion Binera Jayawardana was the chief guest ,Including District Cabinet secretary , Past governors, Region chairpersons, Zone chairpersons,about 42 Lions was participated
