Wilandagoda Salvana Rajamahavihara Aranya Senasanaya is a historical Buddhist Temple with immense archeological value,which is situated in Karuwalagaswewa Divisional Secretariat of Anamaduwa Electorate of Puttalam District ,nearly 27 km from Puttalam town. It is a picturesque monastry which is located in a very calm environment surrounded by the forest.It is a meditation centre for Buddhist monastics. There was no place for these monks to have their meals(alms)and for that reason on request of the chief incumbent monk a building was erected and Lions Club of Homagama Diamonds bare the cost of construction of the roof of this building .Lions participated:Senarath Udugama, Buddhi Arangala ,Vishva De Silva, Pradeep Hatanarachchi,Wasantha Aruna Keerthi & Dilan Sooriyapperuma
