10th October, 2022 - Shasthranada MV. LC of Colombo NTGL brought the International Lions Club Peace Poster Contest to district 306C2. President Lion Prash Barnes MJF MAF, Lion Muthu, Zone Chairperson Lion Wasanthi Agalawatta JP, Cabinet Officer Lion Kanis, Lion Najith and Lion Shiranthi participated. 67 people joined the event where children took time to create a poster under the theme of 'Leading with Compassion' Rs: 20,000/- donation for termite treatment They enjoyed refreshments after completing their posters. Completing the contest in conjunction with Newcastle Lions club, N.Ireland Lion Marian encouraged participation in the contest and sent an encouraging video message to the children, Peace Poster Contest Chairperson Lion Emma Chestnutt sent a personal video message also.
