15th October, 2022 - Payagala Private Arts School LC of Colombo NTGL brought the International Lions Club Peace Poster Contest to district 306C2. President Lion Prash Barnes MJF MAF, Lion Manoj, Lion Waruni and Cabinet Project Chairperson Lion Kanis, participated. 11 children joined the event were children took time to create a poster under the theme of 'Leading with Compassion' they enjoyed refreshments after completing their posters. Newcastle Lion Marian from N.Ireland encouraged participation in the contest and sent an encouraging video message to the children, Peace Poster Chairperson Lion Emma Chestnutt sent a personal video message also.
