18th October, 2022 - SOS Village LC of Colombo NTGL brought the International Lions Club Peace Poster Contest to district 306C2. President Lion Prash Barnes MJF MAF, PPC Cabinet Officer Lion Kanis and Lion Najith participated. 13 people joined the event were children took time to create a poster under the theme of 'Leading with Compassion' Rs:10000/- donation handed over to staff. They enjoyed refreshments after completing their posters. Newcastle Lions clubs encouraged participation in the contest and sent an encouraging video message to the children, Peace Poster Chairperson Lion Emma Chestnutt sent a personal video message also.
