1 007 895/- LKR worth books, stationary were donated to needy students at Presidents College Anuradhapura. The Principal of said school requested this donation and subsequently Lion Ayesh De Silva together with members of Lions Club of Colombo Ceylon Excellence sponsored for this donation and logistics we spent 83,000/- LKR AND 20,000/- LKR for other miscellaneous expenses for the project as attached with the bills. So the total project is 1,110,985 /- LKR spent for this book donation. it's a donation over one Million and we have donated 100 packs of stationary, school bag and books for the education purpose. One pack included 9 CR Books , 01 drawing book, 160 Pages exercises books, pen, pencil and mathematics books. All packs were wrapped and put into school bag as specified by the college. For this donation Lion Samith Mapalagama : Cabinet Secretary of District 306C1 attended along with our club members. District Governor Lion Bannet Gamalath was unable to attended to this project because he was out of colombo and on his advices, 2nd Vice District Governor Lion Ranjith Fernando attended to the inspection of the donation before we leave from colombo and given us his appreciations.
