Description

Diebetic awareness seminar was held at the Nawalapitiya hindu ladies college on 25 November 2022 for students from grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. 12 teachers, the vice principle and the principle of the college participated. The resoures persons were Dr. Nirmala, Dr.A.B.M. Fizal and Dr.V.Yohananthan. Initially the prevalance causes, symptoms, complecations of diabetes in patients, the impact of diabetes in the community and the country war discussed. Then the student were given time for questioning and there was very active participation by asking many questions.
