Description

Coconut fronds are part of a coconut tree that has been rarely used while the amount is abundant.Therefore , there is a concern of how to more utilize coconut fronds.Coconut fronds can be used as raw material for making dustbins of School classrooms instead of using plastic dustbins thus making the environment free of plastics. Lions Club of Homagama Diamonds (LCHD) provided a copy of the book "How To Weave Hawaiian Coconut Palm Fronds" - a step by step guide by Jim Widess to the School to teach students about coconut palm fronds.
