Description

Donated a sum of Rs. 25,000/- to upgrade surrounding and color washing the abandoned monumental bus halt, in memory of Police Sergent Mr. T.M.K. Sirisena ( Father of Lion Pamal Ruwansiri, President of Lions Club of Ratnapura ) and 60 police officials who were missing in action during Liberation Tamil Tigers of Elam (LTTE) war period on 11th June,1990 at Kalkuda, Batticaloa. We had an opportunity to attend this memorial project along with District Governor, Cabinet Officials and eastern other lions, while attending to Eastern Lions Get together on 7th January,2023.
