Considering the impact of using inorganic fertilizers, rapid increase of diseases mainly cancer and also the struggle of farmers in production and using organic fertilizers after countries financial crises followed by banning imports, Lions Club of Batticaloa conducted a one day training workshop jointly with Puthiya Velicham Organization from Canada and Sound of Nature Organization, Batticaloa in organic farming for people involving in small scale home gardening for living with practical sessions.
Training was conducted by Agriculture experts from India and Eastern University, Batticaloa
