Description

Each child in this society is important regardless their nationality, religion, rich, poor or what kind of education they are having. This project was a very very special for all our club members as we were able to be a part of some beautiful and most innocent group of children at Chithra Lane School for Special Children. As a group of full of compassion we held hands with the Principal and the Staff of Chithra Lane School for Special Children by bearing the total expenses for the event of school sports meet. This was held on 17th March 2023 at Henry Pedris Ground, Colombo 05 and we were also lucky to participate for this event and share our time with these beautiful children. We wish all the very best for these children's future and we are much thankful for the Principal and the staff for their service. Chief Guest of the sport meet Advisor for the Region 8 Lion Viduranga Maddumage MJF, Guest of Honor Additional Cabinet Secretary Lion Gaya Upasena PMJF, Region 8 Zone 1 Zone Chairperson Lion Lady Sanjeewani Weerarathne MAF, Lions club President, Secretary, Treasurer, 8 Lion members and 3 LEO members participated for this event. Project Chairperson- Lion Ananda Matararachchi.
