Honoring our beloved Lion colleague late Lion Anton Emmanuel. We paid our last respects and bid farewell to a truly extraordinary friend, late Lion Anton Emmanuel, a beacon of friendship within our Club membership He reflected upon the immeasurable contributions he made to our club in terms of his service to the communities he served, and the lives he touched. His unwavering dedication and tireless efforts were evident in every project, initiative, and endeavor he undertook during his period as a club member. His memory will forever be etched in our collective consciousness, serving as a constant reminder of the power of kindness, compassion, and service. As late Anton leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire future members, we as members and as close friends, decided to make a generous monetary contribution of Rs 200,000 as a token of our close bond towards late Lion Anton. The proceeds will go to the education of his son as the wife is facing financial difficulties due to the sudden demise of her husband. Lions Club of Colombo Elvitigala The Club President, Club Treasurer, Past District Governor and Past Club President were present at the occasion.
