Description

Visual impairment is one major issue in the country mainly among the elderly. The project to donate lenses and contribute to the eventual eye operation was once again initiated by our great Lion Enoka De Silva and assisted by Lion Malervili, Cabinet Officer for Vision. At the handing over of lenses to the Manager and Officer in charge which took place at the Helpage Hospital Colombo was attended by the Region Chairperson Lion Trudy Dharmaratne, Regional Treasurer Lion NImal Ranaweera, Cabinet Officers Lion Tuan and Lion Bandula.
