On the District Governor's historic journey to the Saman Devale in Ratnapura on Sunday, the 6th of August 2023 marked " The Day of Projects" with the Lions Clubs of District 306C2 collectively donating various items, food distribution etc at different locations on the District Governor's journey. It was a long line of loving, compassiinate Lions who gathered in numbers to wish the Governor whilst welcoming him at these locations to give away all that was prepared and ready to be handed over to the needy children and adults. Our Club donated school bags, books, stationary packs to three needy children, selected from the community. The Region Chairperson Lion Trudy Dharmarathna iniated this project on our behalf. The Club President Lon P Antony was also present.
