As 306 c2 District Environment Chairperson Lion Chamath C. Jayalath , It was proposed at the beginning of 2019/2020 fical year ''DISTRICT 306C2 ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT 2019-2020 '' According to the proposed project Home Gardening was under number 06 as below.
06 Home Garden Project
a. To promote the concept of home-gardening depending on the availability of space
b. To provide seeds and plants
c. To promote tradi????onal agricultural methods, knowledge, and concepts and
to discourage the use of artificial manure
d. Prepare examples and publish
e. To provide such information through booklets and broaches
f. To give priority to locally produced garden products and to encourage children to
partake such products
g. To promote the concept of “ Our home is free from chemicals or poison”
with the help of stickers or banners.
As a example we actively participated in this project,In Our home garden we planted vegetable plants ,Fruits plants ,Forest tree & other plants .Maintained plant nursery.These plant also provided for environment projects to encourage save our nature.
