"Educational Empowerment: Lions Club of Havelock Legends Seminar for Grade 5 Scholarship Students
On September 8, 2023, the Lions Club of Havelock Legends proudly organized an insightful seminar for Grade 5 scholarship students, aimed at nurturing young minds for a brighter future. The seminar was conducted by Region Chairperson Region 4, Lion Lady Nayana Palliyage, a dedicated teacher from Anula College, Nugegoda.
This remarkable initiative was launched in collaboration with Lions Club of Kottawa Metro, with the valued support of Lions Club of Delkanda and Lions Club of Maharagama Golden Stars. Together, we created a joint project under the umbrella of the esteemed 306 C2 Lions District.
We were honored to have First Wise Governor Ranjith Fernando MJF/MAF as our esteemed Chief Guest. His presence added a layer of distinction to this educational endeavor.
The seminar, held at Arewwala Vidyaloka Maha Vidyalaya, provided valuable insights and guidance to the young scholarship aspirants, empowering them to excel in their academic pursuits.
To ensure that the students were well-prepared and nourished, we provided a nutritious breakfast and refreshments. Additionally, all the needed study materials were generously supplied to support their educational journey.
