On September 29, 2023, Lion Lady Gayani Edirisinghe, a dedicated member of the Lions Club of Havelock Legends, illuminated the path to personal growth and development for four underprivileged children in the Dambulla area. Her generous heart and unwavering commitment led her to offer full scholarships, providing these young minds access to a year-long program focused on personal development.
The program encompasses a diverse array of skills, including public speaking, participation in extracurricular activities, chess, singing, and more. Lion Lady Gayani's vision is to empower these children with valuable life skills that will enhance their confidence and abilities.
