4th September, 2023 – LC of Colombo Alexandrite District 306C 2 conducted the Peace Poster Contest for the 2nd consecutive year jointly with LC of Newcastle Northern Ireland. The Principal and Art Teacher of Wethara School in Polgasowita were presented with a new Sri Lankan Flag. IPP Lion Prash Barnes MJF MAF, Cabinet Officer for PPC Lion Kanis and Lion Muthu participated.
