The patients who needed cataract surgeries were identified by deserving families from the community and sent to the HelpAge Eye where cataract surgeries were done. The families were identified with the help of the Grama Niladaries in their respective areas. Prior to the surgeries, all other tests were carried out at Ishara Medi Lab which belongs to our member.
