Siptal Pre School and Day Care centre Battaramulla
On the occasion of World Children's Day Project Chairman Lion Prabha, District Governor's Coordinator and Lion Wasantha Maasakorala, District Governor's District Chairman decided to conducted a Tree planting program for children of a pre school Nursery in Battaramulla on the 2nd of October 2023. The special guest for the occasion was Lion Lalith Kuruwitaarachchi, District Governor 's coordinator for Home Gardening (Environment) Lion Tuan Jamion, District Governor 's Coordinator for City Beautification (Environment) and District Governor 's Coordinator for Vision were also present. 25 plants were donated by District Chairman for Environment, Lion Wasantha Maasakorala. Each child was given a tree to plant in a small pot which they all eagerly did. It was a memorable moment for both the children and staff. The nursery was beautifully decorated and each child wore a clourful head crown for the occasion.
