On October 29, 2023, the Lions Club of Havelock Legends, in conjunction with the Colombo Chariot Lions Club, orchestrated a vital drug awareness program. This critical event, addressing pressing issues in our current global and national context, was meticulously coordinated by District Coordinator Lion Chamin Koonje from the Colombo Chariot Lions Club. The program featured an enlightening lecture delivered by Counselor Thushara Nilmini and took place at the Mahaabodhi Counselling Center in Maradana, a venue that set the stage for this essential initiative.The Vanue,Treatments for Lecture,Sounds, Crowd gathering and snaks for participants are arranged by lions club of havelock legends. This event was attended by 200 school children and their parents, and it carried immense importance, considering the challenges faced by our world and country today.
