The Lions Club of Udahamulla New Century organized an Adolescent Health and Reproductive Health Workshop for Adolescents at MOH Arawwala to commemorate World AIDS Day.
Facilitators : Midwife Inoka Lakmli, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Dinusha Ambagala. The workshop aimed to educate adolescents on the importance of maintaining good reproductive health and making informed decisions about their sexual health. The facilitators provided valuable information on safe sex practices, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, and the importance of regular health check-ups. The Chief Medical Officer of Health emphasized the significance of seeking medical help and guidance when it comes to reproductive health. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, allowing adolescents to address any concerns they may have had. Overall, the event was a success in raising awareness and promoting a healthy lifestyle among adolescents.
