As per the request made by Dr. G. Kalaranjani, the Director of Teaching Hospital Batticaloa,today Our Club Donated a batch of Injection Vials and Glucometer Test Strips. In this event, Dr. G Kalaranjani, Doctors, Nurses, Regional Chairman Lioness Dr. Roshini Murugupillai, Club President Lion B. Niroshan, Club Secretary Lion M. Aheleswaran, Club Members also were present.
As per this project, the total number of beneficiaries are 499 patients and this number was confirmed by Dr. P. Lohendran who coordinated this project with Our Club.
The above expenses are medicines 58000.00 Transport 7000.00 Total 65000.00
During the discussion after the event, Dr. G. Kalaranjani, The Director of the hospital highly appreciated the donation, stating that its is a great support t given by Lions Club of Valaichenai Town at a much needed time and also wished us All the Success for the future endeavours, support and services to the Health Sector and also other activities.
