Donated 300 school bags and 300 pairs of school shoes to underprivileged children in Walallawita area. This impactful initiative spanned over two consecutive days, organized in three phases. The generosity of our donors from the USA, who contributed bags valued at Rs. 6990 each and shoes worth Rs. 3299, made this project possible. Upon receiving the donated items, we collaborated with dedicated representatives who facilitated the distribution process. During the first phase, bags and shoes were handed over to selected representatives, who then gathered villagers at Walallawita Praja Shalawa for the second phase. In this stage, the items were distributed among the local residents, with representatives going door-to-door to ensure that every deserving household received the much-needed support. For the third and final phase, a special event was organized at a local school, where other children in need were invited to receive these essential school supplies. This meticulous approach aimed to maximize the impact of our donation and ensure that it reached the intended beneficiaries effectively. We believe that education is a fundamental right for every child, and through initiatives like these, we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
