Description

Lions Club of Valaichenai Town donated Dry and Pongal Rations on 14.01.2024, to 32 Families in Valaichenai DS Division area, including Special Needy People and People who are Below Low Income Level inorder for them to Celebrate Thai Pongal during this difficult period. Each pack consisted of Pongal Rations, Rice, Wheat Flour, Dhall, Grams, Dry fish, Soya meat, Coconuts, Sugar and Tea Powder at a value of Rs.5000/- each. In this event President Lion B. Niroshan, Secretary Lion M. Aheleswaran, Treasurer Lion Sritharatheesan, Board of directors Lion. Rajagopal, Lion. Ganapathipillai, Lion. Nitharshan, and new club members were present. The cost of the project is is Rs. 160,000/- plus 8000/- for transport and other arrangements where the total comes to Rs. 168,000/-. The total number of beneficiaries are 103 of 32 families. The beneficiaries praised us for providing this unexpected help at the tough time in their life.
