"Avare Siripa Karuna" was a dedicated cleanup project focused on preserving the natural beauty and sanctity of the Nallathanniya route leading to the Adam's Peak Temple. This initiative aimed to address the environmental impact of pilgrimage activities by organizing cleanup drives and raising awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and sustainable environment. Volunteers from various communities came together to remove litter, plant trees, and implement waste management strategies, ensuring the route remained pristine for future generations. Through their collective efforts, the project not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the area but also promoted a culture of environmental stewardship among pilgrims and local residents.
